After my girls I started running, and getting back into lifting weights , It has helped me mentally and physically. I no longer saw moving my body as a chore, or in a negative way, I found the positive benefits of moving my body. I have fallen in love so much with fitness that I have decided that I wanted to get certified as a Fitness Instructor Specialist to help others to fall in love with moving their bodies in a positive way as well and not as a punishment. BSc. Kin, MSc. PT - Director of Physio Fitness at Farm Girl FitnessSpruha completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2014, and immediately went on to complete her Master’s in Physiotherapy at McMaster University.
Since her graduation in 2016, Spruha has worked in various clinical settings but always saw the best results when she treated patients at home. Spruha’s philosophy is to use hands-on treatment with education and exercise to get patients feeling better quickly and efficiently.
She also believes in creating life-long relationships with her patients so that the next time they have an injury or pain, they feel re-assured that they have someone they can call. Spruha continues to do professional development courses in acupuncture, manual therapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy and vestibular physiotherapy so that she can help as many people as possible.
